Hi all,

I'm currently in a psych/communications class about online gaming and I was wondering if any of you could please answer this questionnaire for my final project. It aims to assess the current relationship between personality traits and online gaming habits. Answers are anonymous and confidential and I'd greatly appreciate it if any of you can contribute! It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

Since my older brother is a Guild Wars player (on a bit of a break), I thought I'd start by asking for help here!

I had a quick look at your survey and I'm afraid to say that its far from impartial. IMHO it assume thats everyone who plays online games is addicted.

You might want to start it by actually asking if the player feels they are addicted.

I think the first page should all have 3 answers, sometimes needs to be an answer because those almost felt like ultimatums. Either you do or you don't when really it could be only sometimes. 2nd page needs a never. Just my thoughts as I filled it out.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually revised the survey so that it works on a degree of agreement (strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree) rather than a yes/no basis. Thanks again for your help!

lol I just administered a survey today that was on the same level, SD,D,N,A,SA. Don't have time to take it now, will try to take it tomorrow though.

Probably might not be for a class. It could be one of those online surveys that pays people for taking it.
